The new Eurocodes which will be fully introduced by March 2010, will have a marked effect on site investigations procedures and geotechnical design. With the existing British Standards to be withdrawn, Mason Evans is updating systems to ensure compliance with the new procedures. Eurocode 7, in particular, places great emphasis on the need for geotechnical companies operating within the construction industry to ensure that their structures are designed in compliance with the new standards.
