The impact of ground conditions is often the central core of deliberation in the legal arenas of the court and planning tribunals. Our staff have acted as expert witnesses in the Court of Session, Scottish Lands Tribunal, various Public Inquiries and in Arbitration. Cases we have been involved in include:
- A80 - Auchenkilns Road Collapse - investigations and reporting on causation of major road failure (pile collapse), acting for insurers and Loss Adjusters
- Pollokshields East Railway Station - advising Loss Adjusters on mine related collapse
- South East Wedge, Edinburgh - providing expert advice on land development to Planning Inquiry
- Airdrie Mineshaft Collapse - providing expert witness support to case against the Coal Authority on behalf of claimants
- Dun Law Windfarm - providing expert opinion on construction claim relating to aggregate suitability
