Mason Evans have completed investigations and advised on potential abnormal development costs associated with the proposed development of this 250 Ha site in Perthshire. The land was predominantly agricultural/moorland in nature. The proposed development as a luxury golf resort and hotel complex, would include a championship golf course with associated club house and maintenance facilities, residential properties and hotel lodges as well as the main hotel complex.

 In addition to the investigation of geotechnical issues related to foundation design and reprofiling of the site, we also carried out appraisals of the potential for utilising groundwater at the site for irrigation purposes. Pumping tests were carried out at the site which confirmed that the sub surface groundwater could meet the stringent requirements of the proposed development.
