Embracing a philosophy of 'Solutions not Problems', we are actively involved in the assessment of derelict ‘brownfield’ and ‘greenfield’ land for development. Our specialist services may be broadly considered to include:
• The assessment of chemically contaminated land and groundwater
• The assessment of the impact of shallow mineworkings
• The assessment of adverse soil conditions to development
• The remediation of land affected by contamination and shallow mining.
Since our inception in 1995, we have experienced considerable success and now assume a prominent position in the UK construction industry. The firm carries over forty staff including geo-environmental engineers, civil engineers, and geologists. Our mission is to rapidly assess client needs and work to achieve cost sensitive design solutions which effectively manage identified ground constraints.
The range of our clients and the scale of projects we have undertaken are wide, ranging from major land reclamation schemes for major public bodies to smaller land appraisals for private developers. Indeed, it is in this area that we have particular success, assessing around 500 sites each year. We consider that since our inception, we have examined approximately 5,000 sites.
