Mason Evans Partnership recognises that the training and development of its staff is beneficial in equipping them with the growing responsibility that their career progression may bring and enabling them to achieve the highest levels of professionalism in their work. To that end, we have an established training and development policy designed to fulfill these objectives.
It is the Firm’s policy to provide opportunities for employees to train for technical and professional qualifications and for continuing professional development to expand their expertise in the services offered by the firm.
All staff are encouraged to prepare personal development plans, in conjunction with their Technical Director, which set out training and development targets. Staff are encouraged to identify suitable training courses to meet their needs and Directors are responsible for assessing their training requirements.
Each member of staff is required to attend an annual review with their Director at which one of the issues addressed is training and development. Training attended during the previous year is assessed and a plan set out for training for the next year. Where appropriate, staff may be given six monthly reviews to re-examine progress.
In addition to external training, our offices run a series of in-house training seminars under a formal training programme. This provides at least one seminar each month on a wide range of subjects.
