Mason Evans is a geo-environmental and land development consultancy formed in Glasgow in 1995 and now with offices throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Embracing a philosophy of 'Solutions not Problems', we are actively involved in the assessment of derelict 'Brownfield' and 'Greenfield' land, seeking to promote the effective development of sites by detailed investigation and management of adverse ground conditions.

We are routinely engaged in resolving the problems related to shallow mineworkings, chemical contamination, and adverse soil, rock and groundwater conditions. Our services also include waste licensing and management, mineral extraction, environmental impact assessments, and invasive plant surveys.

Our mission is to rapidly assess client needs and work to achieve cost-sensitive design solutions which effectively manage identified ground constraints and land aspirations. The firm's specialists include geo-environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers and geologists.

We serve major corporate organisations, including developers, waste operators, energy companies and financial institutions as well as public authority bodies and smaller organisations. Our projects range from major land reclamation schemes to land appraisals for small private developers. We consider that since our inception, we have examined in excess of 7,000 sites throughout the United Kingdom.
